Our aim is to enhance the lives and, more specifically, the mental well-being of as many people as possible. Both education and treatment are central tenets of our approach. Based primarily in Tullamore, Co Offaly and Mullingar, Co Westmeath, we cater to the mental health needs of individuals and groups from all over Ireland.
The Midlands Mental Health Clinic provides a wide range of services, including counselling sessions; programmes on Anger Management, Assertiveness, Mindfulness and Anxiety/ Depression; supervision for students and professionals in the sector, and other relevant informational workshops for groups.

Foundation
We were founded in by Séamus Sheedy, one of Ireland's most prominent counsellors. Seamus spent two years as President of the IACP (Irish Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists) and was the President of the EAC (European Association of Counsellors) from April 2014 until December 2015, before stepping down to focus on promoting this organisation.
Séamus has worked in the sector since 1999. He has a Masters in Supervisory Counselling from UCD, following on from undergrads in Trinity and DCU, along with many other training qualifications. He has lectured in both DCU and Athlone Institute of Technology.
