Counselling and Psychotherapy

Midlands Mental Health Clinic strive to deliver the most up-to-date and evidence-based methods of counselling and psychotherapy to our clients. Change is possible – let us empower you.

What is Counselling and Psychotherapy?

Counselling and psychotherapy are forms of talk-based therapy and are considered to be some of the most useful tools in the world of mental health.

Contrary to popular belief, you don’t have to have gone through a trauma or have a mental illness to seek counselling – although talk therapies are important factors in treating these issues too. The therapy has many uses and benefits.

Day-to-day stresses can get too much too sometimes, and talk therapy is a good tool to relieve that stress in a healthy way.

How Do Counselling and Psychotherapy Work?

Talk therapy offers the chance for an individual to create a safe space; an area of non-judgement, freedom and positivity.

The counsellor’s job is to sit and listen with an impartial ear as the client talks through whatever may be on their minds – whether it be a trauma or simply the aftermath of a bad day.

Our counsellors are trained and kept to the highest possible standards within the world of counselling and psychotherapy and are non-judgmental. Everything you reveal within your safe space is completely confidential. We are here to help you.

We create plans based on individual cases. Upon meeting you, one of our counsellors will decide which line of counselling and psychotherapy will work best for you and how many sessions you might need.

Our priority is your mental health, first and foremost, so our talk therapies are affordable and fair.
